Anyway. Checked blackboard and thought all ACCA students would be interested in this:

The ACCA have now clarified the situation in respect of the minimum pass marks they will accept for exemptions - and these for each relevant unit are 40% overall with 30% minimum for both coursework and exam. This change applies from 1 January 2008 and means that any student achieving marks in the 30-34% in relevant units in the January 2008 exams will NOT have to do resits in order to gain exemption. The change also applies to students in years 2 and 3 who did not achieve the 35% minimum in years 1 and 2.

PLEASE NOTE THIS APPLIES FOR ACCA EXEMPTIONS ONLY - THE LSBU UNIT PASS MARK REMAINS THE SAME.

Well done ACCA, well done. Have you crazy ass bastards finally realized the pain and torture you've been putting us through??? I can't believe passing mark has gone down to 30% with an overall of 40%! This is like Christmas time for us accounting students :) Not like i've ever gone below the 35% threshold, but i've got exams coming up (next week, ah!!!) and final year to go through, so...there's still plenty of room for a fuck up :/ But lets not go there. Thinking negatively is BAD. Aim for a high mark ALWAYS and you'll land somewhere not far from it. Something he always tells me :) If I keep passing the ACCA mark for each unit, I will get the 9 exemptions I need for my ACCA exams. This means I will only have to do 5 more extra ACCA papers after my degree when THERE ARE ACTUALLY 14 ACCA PAPERS. Do you see the difference between 5 papers and 14 papers? So this is the real reason why I can be a bit of a psychotic freak when it comes to work. Revision has been good. I've decided to only leave out 1 of the topics, meaning...i've decided to study all except one topic so hopefully that will put me in a very good position. I don't know, lets pray and hope for the best :)

I missed the SATC premiere :/ Bummed but I did have my reasons. I still plan on catching the movie some time in the next two weeks anyhow, so life is still peachy. Moss and Shortie - joining?

I feel like cooking :) Cooking makes me happy:) I wanna make a peach pie but I need an oven. A clean oven :) Not BH's oven, thats just naysteh mayn.

Wow...my hormones just took complete control over my post! Gah. Gotta get back to studying :)

Sigh, sigh + more sighs.

Can't wait for detox period. I haven't smoked a cigarette in days, and I think this is my time to quit.................................. :) Jogging with my...trainer in the sun all day long :) If he doesn't call me a poser than he's definitely got the job! I will be his next big project - he claims my arms and stomach and legs will be toned enough for a bikini. HAH. HAH. HAH. I think he just called me fat.

Update: I just realised I put my age as 20 instead of 21. I've become one of those people who don't keep up with their age anymore. Gah, what's happening to me, help :/ I'm old :/ Can I be 20 again? :(

Btw. Studying for FMC has been a complete blast. Law on the other hand is a real bitch!!! How am I supposed to find the time and patience to read, memorize, write, read, memorize, write, oh my good god! I think I should get one of my lawyer sisters to sit through my law exam for me, muahahahahahahahahahahaha. They would do it because they love me :')

Currently at uni, trying to print my 1,000,000,000,000 past papers. Sent it to the printer and what does it tell me - tray empty. The bloody help desk is out to lunch so what am I suppose to do now? Huh?

Wow, i've been blogging alot. I'm getting way too jobless for my liking.

I got a little head start on shopping and just bought the LAST French Connection sequin dress they had available on the website. I would stick a pic of it but it's not up on the website anymore (it was listed out of stock after I placed my order) so um... *scratches head* I guess i'll take a pic when I wear it :D GRINS. Please don't let this be another one of those things I have to return, I want it to FITTT gurrrl.

Btw, ASOS had some fantab sequin dresses. I bookmarked them all!!! But the problem with clearance is that there is never the right size left! Grr. I love shiny things :) Glitter and sequin, bring it on!

Weather's gonna be scorching this weekend :D I love it!!! Me and HIM plan to go shopping to get a sexy suit for his grad! Speaking of him...Gotta go clean his room. Poor soul's been working too hard and I don't think i've made it any easier for him by turning his room into a shit hole. Moss you are in Soton so Shortie, please feel free to join us this weekend!
